Chief Executive | Clinical Excellence Commission
28 Feb 2022
HardyGroup is pleased to be working with the Ministry of Health NSW and the Board of the Clinical Excellence Commission to support the recruitment of a new Chief Executive for the CEC. This exciting opportunity has come about as a result of Carrie Marr the previous Chief Executive of the CEC moving back to her homeland of Scotland after a successful 6 years in the role.
The Clinical Excellence Commission, as with all of Health, is entering a period of change and transformation as the world moves out of the intense disruption created by the COVID-19 pandemic. A new Chief Executive will be called on to build on the success of the past and bring innovation and international best practice to clinical quality and safety to the NSW public Health system.
Established in 2004 the board governed CEC is one of the five pillars of the NSW Health system. These pillar agencies provide specialist services and support to frontline health teams in hospitals and care settings, through consultation and collaboration with clinicians, health consumers, other pillars and the NSW Ministry of Health.
Through inspirational leadership and a collaborative approach across the health care system, the CEC will be recognised as a centre for excellence, a strong partner for clinical improvement and innovation and as having the recognised expertise that can influence the delivery of safe healthcare.
