Chief Executive Officer – Te Pou o te Whakaaro Nui
18 Mar 2019
Each time an organisation choses HG to partner with them to recruit to a leadership role, it is a very special privilege they are affording us.
This week we have gone live to find the next Chief Executive for Te Pou and this assignment has a very special meaning for me.
Te Pou is part of the Wise Group; a family of for purpose organisations that for the past thirty years have made it their mission to create fresh possibilities and services for the wellbeing of people, organisations and communities the length and breadth of New Zealand.
Recently New Zealand’s Prime Minister Jacinda Adern, visited the Wise Group to celebrate their thirty-year milestone and the work of their remarkable and dedicated teams saying – “you are my people”. Hear Hear Jacinda!!!
You see that is what is so special to me about this assignment, they are my people too. I lived and breathed the purpose of the Wise Group in my twenty years working there. I can honestly say I really love this family of organisations and their work.
My colleague Robyn Shearer did too as the Chief Executive of Te Pou. Now the Deputy Director General Mental Health at the Ministry of Health, Robyn leaves an organisation in great heart, with highly capable people, ready to meet the fresh possibilities that will surely come from the Health and Disability Review and the findings of the Mental Health Inquiry.
There is no better time to join Te Pou and I can say from experience that having the strength of the Wise Group behind you really does mean anything is possible.
Interested? We should talk!!
