As part of the Senior Leadership Team your role is to provide innovative leadership and experienced operational health service management for the Surgical and Ambulatory Services team. You value first and foremost a compassionate, honest and direct leadership approach where you are visible talking to your teams, working alongside to manage patient care and ensuring the wellbeing of your staff.You are aware of current and future innovations in surgical and acute care and are happy to lead discussions on new ways of working and experience and try things out.You are action and results focussed, empowering teams to use their clinical data to co-design and deliver great patient care.You are aware of Te Tīrītī o Waitangi and are committed to improving equity of access and healthcare outcomes for Māori communities.
You will currently be leading a clinical service within a complex health system and have an undeniable track record of enhancing patient experience, great teamwork; and improving patient outcomes. You will also possess exceptional depth of knowledge of surgical and acute care health service management and hold a current health professional qualifications and/ or senior health care management role.
