The Cancer Imaging Division of the organisation provides high quality specialised diagnostic imaging and treatment to cancer sufferers, supporting the clinical teams managing their care.
As Director of Cancer Imaging, you will provide leadership to ~60 staff and be responsible for driving the development and implementation of innovative strategy that embraces opportunities and delivers clinical excellence and innovative research outcomes across multiple sites - Parkville, Bendigo, Box Hill, Moorabbin and Sunshine. Cancer Imaging at Peter Mac includes Radiology and Molecular imaging (PET and Nuclear Medicine), offering a full range of diagnostic, interventional and radionuclide services for clinical and research purposes.
The prestigious hospital seeks to appoint a world class Director, who is at the forefront of cancer. As an experienced Radiologist or Nuclear Medicine Physician and leader in the field, you have an impressive academic record and a reputation for building effective and collaborative relationships. You possess strategic acumen and have the ability to play a leading role in influencing the future of Cancer Care. You will meet the essential requirement of being eligible for AHPRA registration; higher degree – MD; PhD or equivalent.
