With the creation of a new Advanced Cardiac Imaging Centre (ACIC) at St Vincent’s Health Australia operating under the auspices of the Cardiology Department, an exciting opportunity exists for dynamic, goal-oriented and experienced Cardiac Radiographers. Three positions are available:
St Vincent’s Health Australia is an internationally- recognised leader in the provision of clinical, research and education and is Australia’s largest provider of not-for-profit services in the health and aged care sectors. The Advanced Cardiac Imaging Centre, due to open shortly, will provide patients with the fastest, least invasive and most accurate assessment of most heart conditions and will be used for world-class research.
The Senior Radiographer will lead the operations for radiography tasks in cardiac CT and/or cardiac MRI within the Advanced Cardiac Imaging Centre (ACIC) at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney (SVHS) under the direction of the Chief Cardiac Radiographer. The Senior Radiographer will be also responsible for developing the Cardiac MRI and Cardiac CT services for outpatients and inpatients of SVHS providing research scans.
The Radiographer will provide radiography tasks in cardiac CT and cardiac MRI within the Advanced Cardiac Imaging Centre (ACIC) at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney Ltd. (SVHS) under the direction of the Chief Cardiac Radiographer.The Radiographer will be responsible for working with the Chief Cardiac Radiographer to ensure the service maintains a safe model of delivery, as well as providing education to other medical radiation scientists, medical practitioners, and nursing staff.
