THE OPPORTUNITY
ACC is looking for an exceptional leader to join them as Deputy Chief Executive System Commissioning & Performance. The Deputy Chief Executive System Commissioning & Performance is responsible for leading the delivery of ACC’s Health Sector, Strategic Commissioning strategies and ensures a strong and cohesive focus on best practice rehabilitation pathways and value-based health outcomes that mean injured people get the right support to recover faster, directly contributing to the long term sustainability of the scheme.
THE CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have senior executive leadership experience in a key role within a large, complex health, health insurance, or related organisation, and significant experience in service commissioning. They will bring a sound understanding of the application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and be an outstanding people leader with demonstrated ability to motivate, inspire and build high performing teams.
Capabilities such as an analytical mindset and an ability to synthesise and glean actionable insights from complex data sets will be important. What will set you apart as a leader will be your demonstrated skills in building strong strategic partnerships with key stakeholders across the sector, gathering insights, and proactively identifying risks and opportunities for the organisation, translating them into specific objectives and strategic priorities, combined with your system thinking and innovation capability and an ability to translate these concepts into measurable outcomes.
