St George’s is now seeking to appoint their next Hospital Manager. The Hospital Manager is a pivotal and broad executive leadership role responsible for leadership of the clinical and supporting teams, and the operational management of the Hospital.
THE ROLE
The Hospital Manager provides strategic leadership and oversees the efficient operation of all clinical and clinical support departments. The role is responsible for the delivery of high-quality patient care, fostering strong relationships with clinicians, overseeing the financial sustainability for the clinical and support areas, planning for future growth, and providing the operational and professional leadership to the Clinical / Clinical Support Management Leadership team. The role of Privacy Officer is included in the position.
THE CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will be an experienced registered nurse, with a proven track record of senior clinical leadership and strategic operations management. They will bring exceptional stakeholder relationship management skills and an excellent consumer/patient/clinician focus, that translates to building and maintaining strong relationships with surgeons, clinicians, and other key stakeholders.
