THE ROLE

Care 24/7 is seeking a new medical director for the Calvary Adelaide Hospital site. A key medical leadership role within the Care 24-7 group, this position is responsible for leading and managing the provision of acute care within the Calvary Adelaide emergency department. The role also has as key partnership role with the Calvary executive and senior management team both clinical and non-clinical.

As the successful candidate you will be a FACEM training emergency medicine specialist. You will bring strong leadership and business management experience to the role and will possess a strong understanding of the delivery and ongoing development of emergency medicine. You will demonstrate a patient centred approach with a focus on safety, operating efficiencies and continuous quality improvement. You will be adept and building and maintaining collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders both internally and externally. You will have a firm commitment to ongoing training and development both for yourselves and for the teams you support.
