Preparing New Zealand’s Great Leaders of Tomorrow, Today
31 Jan 2025
We are delighted to announce the launch of our inaugural Next Generation Executive Programme in New Zealand, bringing together a dynamic cohort of leaders from the primary care and community sectors who are ready to embark on this transformative journey.
Designed by Christine Leahy, our Executive Director Leadership & Learning, in collaboration with our international partners, it will be ably delivered by Fiona Michel and Tu Williams, who combined bring contemporary leadership thinking and deep cultural expertise to the table.
Combining leadership theory, group action learning, and individual coaching, the programme immerses participants in a year-long interactive learning experience. It is structured around three core dimensions: Leading Self, Leading Team, and Leading Organisation. These dimensions aim to equip participants with the skills and toolkit to be even more impactful in role.
Through action learning, participants tackle real-world issues using evidence-based methodologies, fostering both individual growth and organisational impact. Personalised coaching between sessions further reinforces the learning process. The facilitator’s role is to introduce contemporary leadership theories and frameworks, helping participants translate these into practical strategies for their daily leadership challenges.
We are excited to continue preparing New Zealand’s leaders with this impactful initiative, which is designed to inspire, challenge, and support our next generation of senior executives.
