Six Key Leadership Positions Made Available – Are You Up For a Fresh Challenge?

My team and I delighted to be partnering with Naomi Dwyer and her team at the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Services (SCHHS) to recruit to six key leadership roles:

While each of these roles will have a district wide focus they will be based at the newly commissioned Sunshine Coast University Hospital, a world class tertiary teaching hospital in Birtinya that saw its first patients in 2017.

To say a little more of the organisation first, before who might be a good fit. SCHHS has one of the State’s fastest growing populations and has an ambitious agenda to develop its tertiary services, research and education through collaboration and partnerships. Without doubt the community and district has also benefited from significant investment in public infrastructure, exemplified by the $1.8 billion Sunshine Coast University Hospital. Added to that the organisation continues to evolve its cultural identity as a single, multiple site health service, across a dynamic and interdependent range of tertiary, regional and rural health services.

The candidate information document (below) for the first of the roles to go live provides a really great overview of the organisation, its plans and roles, so I won’t go into the detail here. What I would say though is some people are motivated to join a mature organisation that has more of a business as usual focus while others are drawn by the prospective of contributing to an organisation that is intentionally reshaping itself to meet the needs of its growing and changing community.

Ultimately, it is always about the right person, the right role and the right time but beyond that if you see yourself more as a person drawn to a growing and maturing organisation my team and I would really love to hear from you.
